01A residential move starts with the property, not a package
Apartment, house and villa moves have different access, volume and sequencing requirements. We review the actual origin and destination, what is being moved, how items will leave the property and what setup is needed at the destination before confirming the scope.
02What can be included
Depending on the agreed quotation, a residential move can combine packing, furniture protection, loading, transport, unloading, placement and furniture disassembly or reassembly where that service is required and confirmed.
- Packing and wrapping where requested
- Loading and transport
- Unloading and room placement
- Furniture disassembly/reassembly where agreed
- Apartment, house and villa moves
03Access changes the move plan
Stairs, lifts, narrow entrances, compound gates, loading distance and parking or building access can affect how a crew and vehicle should be planned. The quote form now supports Google Maps location selection so origin and destination can be identified more accurately, while access details are still reviewed separately.
04How the quotation is built
There is no useful universal price for every residential move. The quotation should reflect volume, packing requirements, access, crew and vehicle needs, distance, timing and any special items. The estimated road distance shown in the form is one input, not the price by itself.
05Preparing for move day
Before the move, identify fragile or unusually heavy items, confirm building access where relevant, separate valuables and documents you will carry personally, and make sure the destination is ready to receive the items. Clear preparation shortens avoidable delays.
06Next step
Send the origin, destination, move type, preferred date and useful inventory details. If you select both locations from Google Maps suggestions, the form can also calculate an estimated driving distance for the quotation request.
